Wyoming Black Jade

Our black jade comes from Wyoming. The interesting thing about black jade is that it is black all the way through. That’s not something you can say about other black stones. For instance, onyx tends to be dyed to get that rich black color. Black jade is found as a big vein of rock in the earth. Slabs or chunks are cut out. When we source the rough stone, we get it in big angular chunks. Because of this, we like to cut black jade in angular forms.
