Montana Sapphire

The Montana sapphires we source are river worn. Specifically, they come from the El Dorado Bar of the Missouri River. This is why they are typically in pebble like shapes with soft edges. Our approach is to cut windows into the stone. Sometimes, there are cool natural etchings which we will leave. Montana sapphires are typically blue/green but light quality has a strong influence over the color. Sometimes they are more blue and other times more green.
