Australian Opal Large Stone Ring

In dim lighting this opal appears as a muted blue-grey with mild purple fire throughout, but in the sun it comes to life and shows as purple with neon green fire. The dark spot underneath the stone shows through at the center of its surface. While the stone is large, it sits fairly close to the finger, making it very comfortable for the wearer.

This opal is held by 14k yellow gold claws. It sits on an oxidized sterling silver band  with 14k - 24k yellow, rose and white gold embedded into it
