Moldavite Jewelry by Variance Objects

Moldavite Jewelry

Moldavite’s green color and naturally sculpted surface come from an extraordinary impact origin. Our settings protect that texture without hiding it.

About Moldavite

Moldavite is a natural glass formed through meteorite impact, recognizable by its green color and deeply textured surface. Much of its finished form already exists in the rough, so we approach it with particular restraint.

Rather than polishing the material into a conventional gem, we preserve the folds, pits and irregular outline that identify the individual piece. The setting is fabricated to hold that structure securely while leaving its character visible. Read more in our Moldavite history article.

Sourced with Intention

Ethical Gemstones

We use Kimberly Process certified diamonds and traceable colored gems from trusted, family-run sources.

Recycled Precious Metals

Most of our precious metals are recycled, but not all. Our unique handmade process lends itself to less waste and less toxicity.

Respect for the Rough

All our colored gemstones are cut from rough stones. We highlight the rough beauty of each stone with a focus on color variation, rough formation and natural textures.
