About Tourmalated Quartz
In tourmalated quartz, rods and threads of tourmaline pass through a body of quartz. Their direction, density and color form a composition that cannot be repeated.
We orient the rough to keep those inclusions legible, allowing clear areas, clouding and mineral lines to share the surface. The final shape follows what is inside the stone, and the setting is then fabricated around it by hand. The result keeps the contrast between quartz and tourmaline visible from every angle.
